At Errol Street Medical Centre, we strive to provide optimal care to our patients and the health of patients is our first priority.
Circumstances regarding COVID 19 are rapidly changing. We, at Errol Street Medical Centre, are updated daily by Federal and State health officials in relation to the pandemic and have processes in place to ensure your health needs are met in a safe and secure environment in our clinic.
ERROL STREET MEDICAL CENTRE remains open for all the provisions of all of our health services.
Importantly, we are able to offer you consultations via TELEHEALTH (via telephone or video) meaning that you can attend to many of your health needs from you home. These consultations are Privately billed (PRIVATE FEE APPLIES) with Medicare rebate. For prescriptions, referrals, letters and other documents, these can be emailed to you and prescriptions can be also directed to your nearest pharmacy.
We have modified our opening times to 9:00am to 3:00pm, Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays, Saturdays by appointment.

Dr. Emerson Tantoo

Dr. Tantoo is a very experienced GP. Apart from general practice, family medicine and chronic disease management, he has an extensive experience in paediatrics. He has previously spent 3 years in Paediatrics in the Philippines and 8 years in Paediatrics in various hospitals in Victoria, including Monash and Royal Women's.
Dr. Hawa Yasir
Dr. Hawa Yasir did her medical degree at Monash University and completed her GP training in rural Victoria. She also has worked in numerous hospital roles prior to doing her GP training. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a special interest in skin cancer management, managing chronic diseases and women’s health including Implanon insertion.
Dr. Ming Wu

Dr. Wu joined Errol Street Medical Centre in 2014. Prior to joining us, he has been a doctor in China for more than 20 years. Dr. Wu also had been practicing medicine at Bendigo for ten years before moving in Melbourne.
He is very fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Bill Adamson

Bill Adamson is an Osteopath that has trained in rehabilitation and pilates. As if 5 years studying at University weren''t enough Bill is now a sessional lecturer at Victoria University as well as being a Board Director of Osteopathy Australia.
The purpose of a session with Bill is to relieve pain and optimise movement.
This is done by taking a thorough clinical history, performing an Orthopaedic Examination, forming a diagnosis, explaining the diagnosis and then using hands on techniques and rehabilitation exercises.
In his spare time Bill can be found writing pre-game speeches for the football side he coaches, reading books, planning holidays and enjoying Melbourne's vibrant art/music scene.

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized members of staff.
AFTER HOURS CALLS
This medical centre uses Doctor Doctor After Hours Doctor Service. They can be contacted on 13 26 60 for afterhours attendance. Home visits are available through Doctor Doctor every night, weekends and public holidays. Consultations are bulk billed.

TELEPHONE CALLS AND TEST RESULTS
If you wish to speak to your doctor, usually they will need to return your call. If your call is urgent, please explain the reason in case we need to interrupt a consultation. As per our procedure, NO test results will be given out by our staff via the telephone. Please make a follow up appointment to obtain results from your doctor.

If there is any aspect of the service you receive that you are unhappy about, then please discuss it with our Practice Principal / Practice Manager. Also please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist, or put it in writing if necessary. We are happy to receive constructive criticism.
